Since We All Have To Die, Why Is It A Big Deal That Jesus Died?

Jesus lived a long and full life compared to most of the people who ever lived. He had a cause to fight for, and die for. Furthermore it was the ultimate cause and it helped everyone. Others have lived and died in more pain than he did. Then, he was dead for... almost a weekend... and he came back and gets to spend eternity in Heaven as God's right hand guy. That beats winning any lottery in the world. It's like putting a penny in a slot machine and winning infinity. If anything, we should envy Jesus rather than pity him. Sure, it's worth a "thanks", but let's be honest---he's the luckiest guy that ever lived! Agree?
